For the past 4 years, Eve Wood, director of the critically acclaimed film of the post-punk Sheffield music scene 'Made In Sheffield', has been filming Pink Grease, a Sheffield band that mixes glam, electronics and punk into a unique style of music and outrageous live performance.
Enter the world of Pink Grease through a series of documentaries. Witness the lengths a band will go to in the name of rock 'n' roll!
Documentaries (To be watched in sequence - 95 mins total):
1. An Invitation To Russia 2005: Rolling Stone invites the band to play a show in Moscow. Red Square police and too much vodka could be a recipe for disaster.
2. Access All Areas 2003-2005: Travel with the band on their Pink Double-Decker bus as they take you on stage, backstage and behind closed doors, somehow getting involved in a gory zombie movie along the way.
3. Metropolis 2005-2006: Writing and recording new album Mechanical Heart with legendary producer Arthur Baker at the famous Metropolis Studios in London.
4. Nick's World of Synthesizers: A portrait of Nick Collier, member of the band and eccentric inventor of bizarre musical machines.
